The McMaster Health Forum Scholars blog provides student insights on strengthening health systems, as well as updates on the activities of McMaster Health Forum’s scholarship students (Queen Elizabeth Scholars and McMaster Health Forum Scholars).
Through these scholarships, the Forum aims to activate a dynamic community of young global leaders to create lasting impacts on health systems both at home and abroad through cross-cultural exchanges encompassing international education, discovery and inquiry, and professional experiences.
Queen Elizabeth Scholarships in Strengthening Health Systems
The McMaster Health Forum is proud to have been selected as one of 34 Canadian institutions to be a host site for the Canadian Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Scholarship program. The Queen Elizabeth Scholars will have the opportunity to contribute to strengthening health systems in any of 20 Commonwealth countries – ranging from Australia to Zambia – where we, and our partners, have robust relationships focused on health-system strengthening. Scholars will become part of our large and growing network of health-system leaders.

The Forum aims to harness the best available evidence, convene concerned citizens and influential thinkers and doers, and prepare action-oriented leaders to meet pressing health challenges creatively.
